Mission 1

Multiple Google Lunar X-Prize clone-like rovers are delivered by a single lander.

The lander will "hop" around to deposit rovers, similar to an upside down "Candy" dispenser. Rover Deployment.jpg.

Mobility

is this necessary with the lander dropping multiple 'rovers'

Video

webcams are cheap, the data may be expensive though.
height for a perspective ?
pan, tilt, optical zoom ?

Communications

Do we assuming short range communications relayed through the hopper ?
The advantage of a hopper is to fly over the horizon, perhaps a mesh-comm network ?

Lunar Nightlife

may require RTGs just to survive.
