Mission 1

Multiple Google Lunar X-Prize clone-like rovers are delivered by a single lander.

The lander will "hop" around to deposit rovers, similar to an upside down File:Pez-dispenser.

Specifications for the rovers

Mobility

is this necessary with the lander dropping multiple 'rovers'

Video

webcams are cheap, the data may be expensive though.
height for a perspective ?
pan, tilt, optical zoom ?

Communications

The advantage of a hopper is to fly over the horizon, perhaps a mesh-comm network ?

Lunar Nightlife
