Mission 1
Multiple Google Lunar X-Prize clone-like rovers are delivered by a single lander.
The lander will "hop" around to deposit rovers, similar to an upside down Pez-dispenser.
Specifications for the rovers
Mobility
is this necessary with the lander dropping multiple 'rovers'
Video
webcams are cheap, the data may be expensive though. height for a perspective ? pan, tilt, optical zoom ?
Communications
Do we assuming short range communications relayed through the hopper ? The advantage of a hopper is to fly over the horizon, perhaps a mesh-comm network ?
Lunar Nightlife
may require RTGs just to survive.
